We are looking for an Associate Retail Analyst to be based in London, working for a fantastic growing company.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve working within the London Marketing department to provide analytical support to the business and to liaise with other departments internally to successfully distribute/extract pertinent information.
The successful candidate will work very closely with the field Area Managers and other back office functions in order to fulfil this role. As such a high level of interpersonal skills combined with a sound analytical approach to decision making will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will need to complete: -
- Financial modelling and review of business opportunities
- Provide analytical and administrative support for all aspects of Retail Development Group work
- Management Sales Reporting and tracking
- Management and update of SharePoint Sales Management tool
- Network Plan development and update
- Set up and reporting of Capital and signage spend
- Back –up support for Pricing function
- Business Intelligence Reporting
Core / Skill requirements :
- Developed and proven analytical skills
- Understanding of economics supporting UK business
- Financially numerate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP / BW / Power BI for data extraction and analysis
- Share Point and Excel AO add on advantageous but not essential
- Good interpersonal skills (lot of interaction with supply, pricing sales and marketing teams)
- Flexible, as brief may evolve / change
- Budget aware
- Work efficiently
- Work collaboratively with others
Education / Experience
High Quality Relevant Degree Required. Part Qualified Accountant or Business Graduate preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred, some prior knowledge of the Downstream Oil Industry or similar preferred.
